We’ve recently created a sculptural display in collaboration with artist Caique Tizzi for his “Tropical Anthology, a singing dinner”– a performative dinner held at the Julia Stoschek Foundation.
Act 1 – a Piece of Furniture exhibition at Salon am Moritzplatz, Berlin. 2021
The exhibition “Act 1”, launched at the outset of the pandemic, presents our research to the public and traces the community that has developed around the project. Ultimately, this exhibition has brought our so-far virtual platform to real life and introduced it to a wider audience – emphasizing the process of its development while delineating its future.
Lax Bar – Christoph Meier, Ute Müller, Robert Schwarz & Lukas Stopczynski
Accompanied by an interview with the collective that traces the various instances of this project, the photographic documentation we present focuses on the furnishings of the replicas: from the DIY approach in Los Angeles where marble, glass and wood were translated into OSB, mosquito net fabric and cardboard, to the replica in tile and mirror in Vienna.
Immo-Schmidt | Erik Schmidt & Davide Zucco at Carlier | Gebauer, Berlin. 2021
We are revisiting Erik Schmidt and Davide Zucco’s exhibition at Carlier | Gebauer reflecting upon the general meaning of the home. We produced two videos to document the show and Schmidt’s apartment 22 years after he first shot the video Platz der Vereinten Nationen.
Riccardo Benassi – A Building (rocking on a swing without knowing what it’s hung from)
A Building is a reflection on the idea of the building and social architecture, the progressive ideals of parcelling out domestic spaces, and on living as an oscillation between private and community spaces, the “immobile and mobile”.

“Triple Carbs Society (The Built-in Kitchen of M. Duchamp)”
We are revisiting Marco Bruzzone’s exhibition at SMU in which he explores the idea of the kitchen space as the center of family life; an exploration of how life begins with every meal. To do so, Bruzzone re-enacted (with students from the University) M. Duchamp’s meals at a little italian restaurant during his time spent in New York. Bruzzone re-imagines Donald Judd’s Picnic table and simultaneously curates a show whitin the installation.
Friedemann Heckel on the notion of two
Heckel’s project and research applies “the notion of two” to the utilitarian aspect of furniture.
